Team Florida Tournament Recap

If you missed the Team Florida Tournament which debuted Triple Threat Select, you missed a treat. Select entered the gym very focused. Coach Dana told her players “Don’t take anyone for granted!” It seemed to have resonated from her mouth to their ears because they didn’t. The tournament came down to a fight for the Championship spot. Due to a lost to Dynasty Hoops in OT by 6points, the Select team was unsure if they were going to make it to the Championship. The Select team was worried but because of the big wins that they had earlier in the tournament the Select team advanced to the Championship to play against the Central Florida Magic. Select team came out hungry and ready to play. They didn’t let up the entire tournament and brought home a Championship win. Ickson Masson knocked down 35 points 5 blocks and 14 rebounds this tournament. Ickson wasn’t able to play in the last two games due to a knee injury. Ayasi Brooks added 41 points 12 steals and 8 assists……Jalen was showing off his skills with 64 points 6 assists 10 steals, and 3 rebounds. McLeon Charles a new addition to the Select team made his presence known by adding 18 points, 25 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Tylin Alexander scored 20 points 30assists, and 10 rebounds. Corey Kaiser who started this tournament added 19 points and 8 rebounds. Ryan Jones contributed 19 points 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Carlbery Occimable scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. Last by not least, David Sanders ,who is also new to the Select team and is going to be a great addition to the team, added 3 points. David may not have gotten a lot of playing time but when he did he made a big impact. The Triple Threat organization is very proud of these boys. Congrats!!!!
